Preservation and restoration of historic buildings is very important to us here at Studio Tashkeel, so when the chance came up for us to work on a Grade 1 listed building – we embraced it with open arms. We are happy to announce we have been appointed as Delivery Architect on the wonderful St James’ Church Apartment scheme in Wardle, Rochdale.
St James’ Apartments will consist of 5 luxury dwellings built within the existing church building. This will be a welcome change for the local residents, as the building has laid derelict for a number of years, desperate for restoration. Helping to restore a building to its former glory and save a historic monument from falling into disrepair is of upmost importance to Studio Tashkeel. We can’t wait to keep you updated with its progress over the coming months.
